Science Intensive

Today we have been learning about the three states of matter (solid, liquid and gas) and the changes of matter.

In this experiment we first got given a piping bag with chocolate and made a shape on a baking paper.

This meant that the chocolate changed from a liquid to a Solid. Then we poured the chocolate into shapes and left it to cool.

In the context of Sustainability I will design and produce a Maze Game for 5 - 10 Year old to be used to A Solution Is To Create A Maze Game About Traveling Through Clean Streets And Avoiding Untidy Graffiti Walls..

Glenbrae Kids

On Tuesday the 28th of March room 7 students from Glenbrae school went to visit Glenbrae kids. We arrived at the school and we saw a lot of children playing around. When we first got inside we had to sing our song (toro mai to ringa). When we finished one little kid came up to me and just sat on my lap. Then when it was time to play with the children my and my buddy Logan went outside then Logan went to someone else. Then i went back inside and found Coby all by himself so i chose him to be my second buddy. I talked to Coby and me and him went outside and played on all the objects that was there. Then when we left some of the kids didn't want us to leave.  

  

Tennis

Today the student of room 7 went to tennis for week nine we did over arm serves, backhand serves with Campbell.

(5x100=500)+(5x70=350)+(5x4=20)=(500+350+20=870)

4x174=696

(4x100=400)+(4x70=280)+(4x4=16)=(400x280x16=696)

3x174=

(3x100=300)+(3x70=210)+(3x4=12)=(300+210+12=522)

In Maths I Worked Out How Much People Has To Be Seated In The Room.

Here is My Working.

16 tables,9 each,2 tables,8 each,14 kaumatua.

16x9=144

(10x9=90)+(6x9=54)= (54+90=144)

2x8=16

(2x4=8)+(2x4=8)=(8+8=16)

144+16=160

(140+10=150)+(4+6=10)=(150+10=160)

160+14=174

(160+10=170)+(170+4=174)=(174)

So I did some halfing and some times and got my answer for 174.
