My School Holidays

On the holiday i joined up with skids and did some fun activities such as paintball, skate land and games at school.  At skateland we had to do lots of racing and games. At paintball we had two full up the gas tank and the paintball mag. There were different maps and areas to play. At school we craft useful materials with recycling rubbish and played up at the court and the park. At the last day of the holiday programme we got given some treats and won some prizes then we all got dropped off.

On saturday my friend ask my nana if i could go over to his house. At his house we went to the three kings mountain and to the mt roskill library. On sunday we got up played on his x-box and went to the mission bay beach. At the beach we started to swim and played with the beach ball.

Mrs Nath Science Intensive

Today Room 7 went to room 10 for science intensive.
we where learning about fire, fire safety, and fire hazard.
in the morning we where shared a slide from Mrs Nath.
we where writing down words and phrases about our title.
And write it up on the board. then we answered 7 questions about fire
and then write them on the slide with some picture.

After morning tea we where told to do write the lyrics down from the rap that
we where listening to. After then we where told to write message in out posters.

Science Intensive

Today we have been learning about the three states of matter (solid, liquid and gas) and the changes of matter.

In this experiment we first got given a piping bag with chocolate and made a shape on a baking paper.

This meant that the chocolate changed from a liquid to a Solid. Then we poured the chocolate into shapes and left it to cool.

My Maze Relates To Sustainability

In the context of Sustainability I will design and produce a Maze Game for 5 - 10 Year old to be used to A Solution Is To Create A Maze Game About Traveling Through Clean Streets And Avoiding Untidy Graffiti Walls..

Glenbrae Kids

On Tuesday the 28th of March room 7 students from Glenbrae school went to visit Glenbrae kids. We arrived at the school and we saw a lot of children playing around. When we first got inside we had to sing our song (toro mai to ringa). When we finished one little kid came up to me and just sat on my lap. Then when it was time to play with the children my and my buddy Logan went outside then Logan went to someone else. Then i went back inside and found Coby all by himself so i chose him to be my second buddy. I talked to Coby and me and him went outside and played on all the objects that was there. Then when we left some of the kids didn't want us to leave.  

  

Tennis

Today the student of room 7 went to tennis for week nine we did over arm serves, backhand serves with Campbell.

16 tables,9 each,2 tables,8 each,14 kaumatua.

16x9=144

(10x9=90)+(6x9=54)= (54+90=144)

2x8=16

(2x4=8)+(2x4=8)=(8+8=16)

144+16=160

(140+10=150)+(4+6=10)=(150+10=160)

160+14=174

(160+10=170)+(170+4=174)=(174)

So I did some halfing and some times and got my answer for 174.

Air Pollution Presentation

Today Room 7 was in room 9 for science intensive. We learnt what air pollution was and we learnt what was cause's of air pollution. Here is a slide show of what i learnt today at Room 9.

In Technology we will be trialling the use of ePortFolio. the ePortfolios will be used to visually showcase the work we do in technology. We will use our ePortfolio in each technology subject. We will use our blogs to reflect on our learning. We will also use the year 8 digitech to blog to collaborate on different learning activities.
